Is it in the nature of humans, especially the ones we see in Spoon River Anthology, to judge a person based on one specific event, and not put into perspective all the good they’ve done previously of after the event?

What about people who commit manslaughter, like someone who hits a j-walker?

Mr. Wasserman finds it interesting that there is a power struggle between Jody and Janie, where in other books, it is not prevalent. She tells him that he looks funny naked. That’s very mean. We thought you’d like to remember.

Oh, I know…”Cetology” is a DRAG. It’s one of the chapters people complain about most with this book. Stay tough–at least you’re not LIVING it, right?
